Doctrine of demons

Let's get one thing straight. If you come to the healing room like three people did last night and tell me you are demonized, under demonic attack, a high level target, dangerous to pray for or anything else associated with satan, listen carefully - I do not care.

I do not care that some church or some book or someone has told you a pack of lies about the demonic and forgot the truth about God. I do not care that you think your afflicting demons can't be kicked out or that you are always under the power of their attack which keeps you from getting well. I do not care if you think they have legal ground to stay, even though you don't know what that is, and therefore you have to live with them and your sickness.

What I do care about is that you listen to God speak from his word and think about how Christ would handle your situation if he were on earth (which he is) and if he were the one praying for your healing (which he is). Let me give only one scripture: Acts 10.38 which says God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power and that Jesus went around healing all who were under the power of the devil. Note the word all. Think about the rest of his healing ministry to crowds of thousands and whole towns where he drove demons out and healed all kinds of diseases. Do you see any indication that he is limited by legal ground or demonic attack or sinful lives or anything else? Did he ever stop to interview the demonized to see if he had power to do something about it? Did he ask every sick person for a short history to see if he had legal grounds to heal?

The truth about the healer is when he shows up, when his Kingdom invades - the demons gotta go. Never mind legal rights, never mind that you're a demoniac living naked in the tombs totally out of your mind. Only mind Christ. Get your eyes off that other guy. Get them on your healer. You can be healed.

I am angry today at this doctrine of demons that sweeps aside the truth about God's power and desire to heal all who come in favour of the lie that God is overpowered by demonic activity. It's a lie from hell.

So.....if you come to the healing room you might want to review the gospel accounts of Jesus' healings, just so you're in tune with the truth and we don't have to spend a bunch of time deprogramming you.

Or don't. Come with all your pet theories about how you can't be healed. I don't care. God will heal you anyway.

Pa
